50th Anniversary: Apple Plans Apple Park Concert and Employee Gifts

Apple is marking its 50th anniversary with a special gift package for employees ahead of the milestone date on Wednesday, April 1.

As part of the celebration, employees will receive a commemorative t-shirt, an enamel pin, and a limited-edition poster. All items feature a scribble-style rainbow version of the classic Apple logo, which has been used across the company’s anniversary branding and artwork.

The gesture is part of a broader set of internal and public celebrations recognizing the company’s 50-year history and its evolution from a small personal computer maker into a global technology company.

Apple has extended its 50th anniversary celebrations across its global campuses, including at Apple Park, where signage notes that commemorative items are “crafted by hand” and available for employee pickup through April 30.

Global anniversary events

The company has been marking the milestone with a series of events and performances throughout March, including:

  • An Alicia Keys concert in New York

  • A Li Yuchun performance in Chengdu

  • A Mumford & Sons concert in London

  • A meetup with figure skater Elladj Baldé in Vancouver

  • A light-and-music installation in Sydney featuring work by Bailey Pickles

These events are part of Apple’s broader “Today at Apple” programming and anniversary celebrations spanning multiple countries and flagship retail locations.

Finale at Apple Park

Apple is expected to conclude the celebrations with a special finale performance at Apple Park for employees. While the musical guest has not been officially confirmed, rumors suggest that Paul McCartney may headline the closing event.

The anniversary programming highlights Apple’s efforts to blend product history, cultural events, and employee engagement as it marks half a century since its founding.
