Anker’s $70 Nano Power Strip Clamps to Your Desk, Offering 10 Easy-Access Ports

Anker has introduced a new desk-friendly accessory, the 10-in-1 Nano Power Strip, designed to reduce cable clutter while keeping multiple connections within easy reach.

Priced at $70, the compact power strip features a unique clamp-style design that attaches directly to your desk edge. This allows it to sit neatly on your workspace rather than under or behind it, making ports more accessible while keeping cables organized.

With support for up to 10 different connections, the device is aimed at users who want a cleaner, more efficient desktop setup without sacrificing functionality. The launch adds another practical workspace solution to Anker’s growing lineup of charging and power accessories.

I was able to test the Nano Power Strip ahead of its launch and found it to be a practical alternative to traditional under-desk power strips. It comes in either black or white and is made of plastic, but the matte finish gives it a more refined look. A silver front plate also adds a subtle touch of contrast around some of the ports.

The clamp design is adjustable using an included knob, and it supports desktops ranging from 0.6 inches to 1.8 inches in thickness. That said, compatibility depends heavily on your desk type. In my case, a Parsons-style desk was too thick to use the clamp as intended, so it’s important to measure beforehand. While I could still mount it to a desk leg or the back edge, that placement didn’t provide ideal access to all outlets.

To help protect furniture, the clamp includes silicone padding on both sides, preventing scratches and improving grip during installation.

There are six AC outlets in total: two positioned on the top, two on the bottom, and two on the sides. In addition, the strip includes two USB-C ports with up to 70W combined output, and two 12W USB-A ports. The USB-C power is split when both ports are in use, delivering 45W to one device and 25W to the other.

While 70W won’t fully max out a MacBook Pro under heavy load, it’s sufficient for everyday use and can fast-charge most other Apple devices. Ideally, a bit more USB-C power and one fewer USB-A port would have been preferable, though the top outlets can also accommodate a small multi-port adapter if needed.

When mounted at the edge of a desk, the design helps separate usage neatly: the top outlets and USB ports remain accessible above the desk surface, while the bottom and side outlets route cables underneath for a cleaner setup. The above-desk section is also slim, measuring under an inch, which helps keep the profile minimal.

Because it clamps securely to the desk, the unit stays firmly in place when plugging or unplugging devices, avoiding the usual wobble you get with traditional power strips—especially those weighed down by multiple cables.

It also functions as a surge protector, with built-in protections for overload, short circuits, and temperature control.

The Nano Power Strip is available now through Anker’s website and on Amazon for $70.
