Darren Bridges’ repeated emphasis on needing a full squad (“You cannot win without four players”) is meant as a serious design warning, but in practice, gaming history shows someone is bound to attempt a solo run just for the bragging rights.

The quote “That sign can’t stop me because I can’t read” really captures that mindset perfectly—rules, restrictions, or even explicit warnings rarely stop dedicated (or overly confident) players from attempting the impossible. It’s almost a badge of honor in multiplayer communities: seeing who can bend the game to their will, even when the designers say it’s impossible.

So yes, the Raid is intended to be four-player only, but don’t be shocked if a solo speedrun or completion pops up online shortly after release. Gamers will find a way.
