Apple has posted multiple new TikTok videos starring Little Finder Guy

When promoting the MacBook Neo, Apple unexpectedly struck a chord with audiences by introducing a small, human-like version of the Mac Finder icon—now widely nicknamed “Little Finder Guy.” The character first appeared in Apple’s early March TikTok campaign and quickly gained popularity among viewers.

Building on that momentum, Apple is now leaning into the character’s fan appeal by releasing three new videos aimed specifically at Finder enthusiasts.

Three tutorial videos on Apple’s TikTok account now feature the character known as Little Finder Guy. Each video demonstrates a different Mac feature—Stacks on the desktop, using a ring light with video apps, and voice dictation. All tutorials are presented on the MacBook Neo and consistently include the animated Finder mascot.

The character first gained attention during Apple’s recent marketing push, and viewer reactions have largely focused on this new Finder-inspired figure rather than the features being demonstrated. Interest in the mascot has grown quickly across social media, with many users commenting specifically on its design and personality.

Adding to the buzz, Stephen Hackett of 512 Pixels has even created a .3mf file that allows users to 3D print their own version of Little Finder Guy for those with compatible printers. The concept has drawn comparisons to Google’s long-standing Android mascot tradition, which also uses a playful 3D character to represent its platform.
