“I’d give my life to get hers back – wait, I’m already dead”
Stupid Never Dies!, a pop-punky action RPG from a new studio formed by veterans of Dragon’s Dogma and Devil May Cry, made an appearance at the Future Games Show Spring Showcase. Its trailer shows off a fast-paced combat style that will feel familiar to fans of DmC, with a score meter rewarding stylish combos as you take down waves of enemies.
Fast action with undead flair
Players control Davy, a lowly zombie determined to bring a frozen woman named Julia back to life. Each dungeon run is timed, and the longer the cold storage keeps her preserved, the more chance you have to succeed. With each attempt, you can power up your abilities, steal enemy skills, and customize your undead body with bizarre upgrades—making every run increasingly effective.
Monsters, mayhem, and blazing growth
The Steam blurb puts it perfectly: “Werewolves, Lizardmen, Skeletons—In a world where monsters are part of everyday life, a bottom-rung zombie named Davy braves a deadly dungeon to bring back Julia, the frozen human he loved. Gear up for a delightfully wild, ‘BLAZING FAST GROWTH’ action RPG—Stupid Never Dies!”
Stupid Never Dies! promises a thrilling mix of high-speed combat, undead antics, and RPG progression.
