Voiceprint: Clone Your Writing Style with Claude
A new Claude Code plugin called Voiceprint can create a “linguistic fingerprint” of your writing, making AI-generated text sound just like you. It works with any tool compatible with the SKILL.md specification.
How It Works: Stylometry Meets AI
Voiceprint is based on Stylometry, the statistical analysis of linguistic patterns used to study authorship and writing style.
James Kemp, Core Product Manager for WooCommerce and the plugin’s author, explains:
“It collects five writing samples across different emotional registers—casual, explanatory, excited, frustrated, persuasive—and runs stylometric analysis. Function word frequencies, sentence length patterns, punctuation habits—all the elements that distinguish individual writing style.
Then it cross-references these patterns against your stated preferences. When conflicts arise, the plugin trusts your actual writing—how you actually write beats how you think you write.
There’s also an AI pattern rejection phase, letting you ban phrases that make you cringe (like ‘let’s dive in’ or ‘in today’s fast-paced world’). The output includes a compressed avoid list, voice exemplars from your real writing, and format-specific guidance for social media, blogs, emails, and more.”
