Sky Launches F1 Special Offer: Watch 2026 Season Start for £5 per Race in March

Sky Sports Launches Last-Minute Offer to Watch Australian GP and Early F1 2026 Races

Sky Sports has introduced a special promotion allowing UK fans to watch the 2026 season-opening Australian Grand Prix without committing to a full Sky contract.

The offer provides access to the Sky Sports F1 channel, covering practice, qualifying, and the race, for just £15 a month on a rolling contract that can be cancelled at any time. This deal includes the first three race weekends of March — Melbourne, Shanghai, and Suzuka — effectively making it £5 per race.

The promotion is cheaper than Sky’s standard package, which requires a longer-term subscription, and is ideal for fans who want to catch the start of the new F1 season live. To qualify, viewers need an existing Sky subscription starting from £15 for the Sky Essentials package, or £18 a month for a 31-day rolling contract.

Sky remains the only UK broadcaster to show every session live, including exclusive interviews, analysis, and Martin Brundle’s famous pre-race grid walk. Coverage of the Australian GP begins on Friday, 6 March at 1:30am GMT with first practice, while the race itself takes place on Sunday, 8 March at 4:00am, with build-up starting at 2:30am.

International viewers will need alternative services: Apple TV holds the 2026 F1 rights in the US, while Fox Australia will cover the Australian GP locally.

This last-minute offer provides fans a flexible, cost-effective way to experience the start of F1’s 2026 season.
