Oh god, I don’t think this is going to go ve—WHAT WAS THAT THING?!"
Cordura, an upcoming psychological survival horror title from indie developer and publisher Garage 51, debuted its first full story trailer at the Future Games Show Spring Showcase powered by HyperX. The cinematic teaser sets a terrifying tone, dropping players into a Victorian-era burglary gone horribly wrong.
Step into the lion’s den
A grizzled, leering Cockney voice introduces the job: a seemingly simple heist for men with nerve. But as the scarred, moustachioed gangsters attempt to steal… roses, the situation quickly spirals. The building they enter features a massive armored door that feels more like a prison than a vault, creating an ominous atmosphere from the start.
Horror in every shadow
The trailer offers glimpses of the game’s chilling moments:
-
Veiled figures lurking in the shadows
-
Characters overtaken by abyssal darkness
-
Doors slamming shut behind the team, trapping them in the unknown
The drawn, textured art style evokes the mood of Dishonored with touches reminiscent of Little Nightmares, blending eerie realism with stylized horror to keep players on edge.
While the exact release date for Cordura hasn’t been announced, it will be available on Steam and PlayStation 5 when it launches.
