During the Spring Showcase of the Future Games Show Spring Showcase, powered by HyperX, Bandai Namco unveiled a new trailer for Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes, confirming the release date for the upcoming horror experience.

The trailer, which runs for just over a minute and a half, is packed with unsettling and mysterious imagery. It opens with a series of eerie locations — from a classroom where a lone figure stares into the distance to a kitchen illuminated by an ominous red glow. All of this is accompanied by the haunting sound of children humming in a choir, setting a chilling tone.

As the trailer progresses, viewers get a brief look at gameplay. Like many VR titles, players see a pair of floating hands representing their in-game presence. Using these hands, they interact with the environment to solve puzzles — or simply experiment with objects around them, such as tossing a fish head into a pot of boiling water.

Toward the end, the trailer ramps up the tension with glimpses of strange and unsettling creatures — some of which appear to notice the player. It’s also revealed that Iconik is collaborating with Bandai Namco on the project, bringing its extensive experience in VR development to the game.

The trailer concludes with key release details: Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes launches on April 24 and will be available on PlayStation VR2, Meta Quest, and SteamVR.
