CALX Serves Pure Spacefaring Sci-Fi Vibes, Set to Launch in Early June

It’s all cosmic, man.

Indie action platformer CALX just revealed a new trailer during the Future Games Show Spring Showcase powered by HyperX, announcing its release date: June 4, 2026, and showing off fresh art, music, and swashbuckling action.

Set on the alien planet Syro, the trailer is dialogue-free, blending a variety of moods and atmospheres. The visuals mix cel-shaded serenity—rustling wilderness and ancient ruins—with intense combat against robots wielding lasers, axes, and swords. The style evokes a combination of Journey’s tranquil exploration and Furi’s frenetic bullet-hell action and driving synth soundtrack.

Atmosphere meets action

CALX seems designed as much for feeling as for thinking. Players experience a gorgeously melancholic alien world while navigating both gentle and dynamic musical moments. Then, just when the mood is serene, intense combat kicks in—testing your reflexes while keeping the world’s charm intact.

CALX is set to launch on PC on June 4, 2026, with major console releases planned later in the year at an unspecified date.
