Nintendo has announced two new Kirby Air Riders amiibo for 2026: Sword Kirby with Dragoon and Noir Dedede with Hydra. Like previous figures in the series, each amiibo includes a character and a matching vehicle, and both can even swap vehicles for added playability.
These new figures are the most intricate in the Kirby Air Riders lineup so far. Sword Kirby’s Air Ride Machine features vibrant engine colors, while Noir Dedede impresses with a tattered cloak and menacing spikes. Nintendo has not yet confirmed when these will launch internationally, but their level of detail is already turning heads among collectors.
Pricing is expected to mirror earlier releases. On the Japan My Nintendo Store, both amiibo are listed at 8,250 yen each — roughly $52 USD — which aligns with the series’ typical $49.99 price point. Release dates are still “to be decided,” though King Dedede & Tank Star amiibo is scheduled for July 2, 2026.
In the meantime, fans can still pick up the Meta Knight & Shadow Star amiibo, which launched March 5, 2026 for $44.99 at Best Buy. Collectors should keep an eye out for Sword Kirby and Noir Dedede to complete their Kirby Air Riders sets.
