Publishing and communications director John ‘Bucky’ Buckley told GamesRadar+ at GDC that while the studio isn’t aiming to create a full media empire, “we can expect more kind of fun little Palworld stuff.” He added that the team is “happy to have those conversations” with outside developers for spin-offs, “as long as it’s different and as long as it’s something that the players want.”
Palworld is already branching out into a variety of quirky directions, from the multiplayer farming spin-off Palworld: Palfarm to a cursed high school dating sim featuring the Pals. Developer Pocketpair is open to more oddball offshoots, but only if they make sense within Palworld’s absurd universe.
