Its strong launch positions it as the console’s fourth highest-selling title so far, and it may rise further in the coming financial reporting period, potentially overtaking Donkey Kong Bananza to become the second-best-selling game on the system. Reports also indicate physical copies are extremely hard to find, highlighting the high demand for the crossover-style game that combines elements reminiscent of Pokémon, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Minecraft.
Pokemon Pokopia has sold 2.2 million copies in its first four days, according to Nintendo and The Pokemon Company.
