PowerA has unveiled a new Mario Kart World version of its Advantage Wireless controller for Nintendo Switch 2. While it’s largely a re-skin of their existing pad, the design is enough to make fans want to fire up Mario Kart again.

Pre-order: $64.99 on Amazon
Launch date: March 8, 2026

What You Get

Under its Mario Kart-inspired exterior, the controller offers:

  • Motion controls

  • Hall effect stick nodules for precision

  • Up to 30 hours battery life

  • Wireless connectivity

  • Full compatibility across Switch consoles

Although it’s cheaper than Nintendo’s Switch 2 Pro controller, it lacks premium features like HD Rumble 2 and the slightly heftier build of first-party pads.

Why the Mario Kart World Skin Stands Out

This version swaps the Pokémon Mega Evolutions artwork from previous Advantage controllers for Mario Kart flair:

  • Light gray-white background pattern of in-game emblems and items

  • Vivid Mario Kart World logo

  • Yellow accents on ABXY and Switch 2 buttons

On the back, you get two yellow remappable “advanced gaming buttons”, adding both style and extra functionality. While we might’ve loved more characters like Princess Peach featured, the design still screams “Mario Day ready.”
