Solasta 2, the upcoming party-based Dungeons & Dragons CRPG from Tactical Adventures, is drawing inevitable comparisons to Baldur’s Gate 3—but the developers emphasize that it’s a very different experience.

With a team of around 40, Tactical Adventures can’t match Larian Studios’ narrative scope, but they’ve focused on combat depth and flexibility. Where Solasta 2 may lack expansive storylines, it delivers gritty, engaging tactical combat that allows players to explore D&D rules and strategies in a detailed way.
